Touring Icemeler

Siobhan, Frank, Joseph and I decided to head to a nearby town to do some sight seeing and to get out of Marmaris for the day. Marmaris bay is a big horse shoe, our marina is on the top left hand corner of the "u" and Marmaris is on the bottom, Icemeler is on the left hand side of the bay. The rock in the picture is in the mouth of the bay. Rhodes, Greece is only 10 miles away by ferry. We hope to make that journey soon..if not on the ferry then with Zimbabalooba.
The idea was to drive the 15 minutes or so, walk the town and have a late lunch. Everyone was still not over the "flu" so we were taking easy. The picture to the left is a possible swimming spot in warmer weather. Even with the cooler weather the water looked great.
Joseph and I stopped for a photo and it was a beautiful day! The weather had been up and down, but the day was nice and company was fantastic.
A 180 degree shot of the bay. Siobhan enjoying the views. We haven't really seen many "real" beaches. People like to swim of the rocks, fish and all the rest.

Siobhan taking the opportunity to pose for a photo. In the distance is Marmaris. We took a stroll down the docks to see what was open, but as expected almost everything was closed.
This time one of the girls!!!
