Kithinos...sailing, swimming, and fishing!

We left for Kithnos fairly early ..well 9 am is early for us! Haha.
We had breakfast in route and did a bit of reading and napping along the way. The sun was strong and the breeze steady. Joseph was very excited to put up the mainsail for the first time this year. She looked great and Wendy steered us with the wind and we got the speed to about 10 knots...We were flying!
Towards the end of the journey the wind died and we motored, Joseph decided to take a nap...with Jeb and Wendy and myself were left to man the steering and the fishing line.

At first, I did not know what the noise was but as soon as Jeb heard it...the line being pulled he shouted "we caught one" !!!

We all jumped up including Joseph who was on the foredeck snoozing.
So I slowed the throttle and we began to reel in our catch.
Now depending who you ask (Jeb or Wendy) you get a mixed answer on who really caught the fish. Jeb is taking full credit for the 20 lb. Tuna and he is telling everyone! Wendy continues to correct him that we all caught the fish!
So, as it goes Jeb did cut the fish up ( it reminded me of my dad cleaning up Blue fish at the Hampton pier) and we had Sushi on the spot.

Joseph later fired up the grill and we had tuna, potatoes, and broccoli for dinner...it was delicious.
I have to say I am really loving the boat life! Greece is am amazing place to cruise...
